Short version: Use the app honestly, pay for Pro if you upgrade, and don't abuse the service. Tax estimates are informational only — consult a tax professional. By using MyFanFolio you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using MyFanFolio, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users — free and Pro.
2. Age Requirement
⚠️ You must be 18 years of age or older to use MyFanFolio. By registering you confirm you meet this requirement. Accounts belonging to minors will be immediately terminated.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials
- You must provide a valid email address at registration
- You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others
- Notify us at hello@myfanfolio.com if you suspect unauthorized access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying code or infrastructure
- Use automated tools to access the Service at scale
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service's security
5. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into MyFanFolio. We claim no ownership over your content. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You can export or delete your data at any time.
6. Free Tier
The Free tier is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify Free tier features with reasonable notice.
7. Pro Subscription
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe at the displayed price
- Cancel anytime — Pro access continues until end of the current billing period
- Refunds available within 7 days of initial purchase. Email hello@myfanfolio.com
- We reserve the right to change Pro pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
- Founding Member pricing is locked for life as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty. All tax estimates and financial calculations are for informational purposes only — not professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for all financial decisions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyFanFolio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing hello@myfanfolio.com. Your data will be deleted within 30 days.
11. Changes
Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
