Privacy Policy

The short version: We collect only what we need to run the app. We don't sell your data, run ads, or link your identity to your creator activity. Your financial and fan data is yours — export or delete it anytime. Full details below.

1. Who We Are

MyFanFolio is a business management platform for adult content creators, operating at myfanfolio.com. This platform is strictly for users aged 18 and over. Privacy questions: privacy@myfanfolio.com

2. What We Collect

Only what's necessary to provide the service:

Account: Email address and hashed password. We never store plaintext passwords.
Financial data you enter: Income records, expenses, and tax figures you input or import via CSV.
Fan/CRM data you enter: Names, notes, spend amounts, and engagement details you choose to record.
App usage data: Which features you use and error logs — used to improve the product, never sold.
Payment info (Pro only): Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

We do not collect your legal name, government ID, or any data that links your MyFanFolio account to your real-world identity unless you voluntarily provide it.

3. How We Use Your Data

To operate and improve the MyFanFolio service
To sync your data across devices via Firebase
To process Pro subscription payments via Stripe
To send transactional emails only (account creation, password reset). No marketing without explicit consent.
To comply with legal obligations where required

We do not use your data to serve ads, build advertising profiles, or sell to data brokers.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption at rest and in transit. Firebase is SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR/CCPA compliant.

Firestore Security Rules ensure each user can only access their own data. If we become aware of a breach affecting you, we will notify you promptly.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. The only third parties who receive data:

Google Firebase / Google Cloud: Infrastructure and authentication
Stripe: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
Legal authorities: Only when required by valid legal process

We do not embed ad networks, analytics trackers, or third-party marketing pixels anywhere in the application.

6. Your Rights

Export your data anytime as CSV or PDF directly from the app
Delete your account and all data — email privacy@myfanfolio.com, completed within 30 days
Correct any data — all records can be edited directly in the app
Close your account anytime, no questions asked

EU/UK users also have rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

We use only essential functional cookies — specifically Firebase Authentication session tokens to keep you logged in. No advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics.

8. Age Requirement

MyFanFolio is strictly for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact privacy@myfanfolio.com and we will delete the account immediately.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect any changes. For material changes we will notify you by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
